Estimania is a free daily estimation game. Every day you get five numerical trivia questions — from science, geography, history, and sport — and your job is to guess the answer as closely as possible. No multiple choice, no hints. A new puzzle drops at midnight UTC.
Depends on your browser. On mobile:
Chrome: Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner → “Translate”.
Safari: Tap “AA” or the page icon in the address bar → “Translate”.
Each answer is scored on a log scale: a perfect guess scores 100, and being off by a factor of 10 scores 0. This means guessing 50 when the answer is 100 costs you the same as guessing 200 — proportional errors are treated symmetrically.
A new puzzle is released every day at midnight UTC. Once you complete a puzzle, it locks — each puzzle can only be played once.
Yes. After completing your first puzzle you can generate a recovery code to link a second device, so your scores and leaderboard rank stay in sync.
You can just create a new account. Delete the browser data for this site and when you play next time, you can enter a new nickname. If you're on the App:
Android: Settings → Apps → Estimania → Storage → Clear Data (resets everything)
iOS: Deleting and reinstalling the PWA is the only option

Estimania is developed by me, Valentin. I am a 27 year old solo developer and trivia geek based in Graz, Austria. If you want to reach out, you can via Instagram or this form.
Currently, it doesn't. If you want to help with keeping Estimania free, you can support the project on Ko-fi.
